Twindevs is on a mission to restore agency and focus to everyday computing, starting with the inbox.
We believe the inbox should be a tool of clarity, not a source of anxiety. TwinMail exists to give people control over their email without compromising privacy, security, or the relationships that matter.
The problem
Modern email tools optimize for engagement over utility. We are overwhelmed by noisy interfaces, fragmented data across providers, and platforms that monetize our attention rather than our productivity.
Sharing inbox access requires either sharing passwords or navigating complex enterprise IT tooling disconnected from the consumer experience. Families, assistants, and small teams are left without good options.
Our approach
Local-first
Storage and compute belong on your device. The cloud should be an encrypted transport, not a source of truth.
Explicit consent
Generative AI is powerful, but it should be a tool you deliberately apply, not a passive observer reading every message.
People-first design
Most meaningful emails involve relationships. TwinMail organizes around the people you interact with, cutting across the artificial boundaries of accounts and inbox folders.

Twindevs is bootstrapped and led by Dylan Dahal. We are a small, focused team of engineers and designers committed to building sustainable, high-craft software that respects user agency.
